Where are your practices located?

The Anderson Center for Hair has surgical centers located at 2710 Old Milton Parkway, Suite 170, Alpharetta, GA 30009, and 5555 Peachtree Dunwoody Road, Suite 106, Atlanta, GA 30342. Dr. Ken Anderson and Dr. Jeremy Wetzel are the primary surgeons at the Alpharetta location. Dr. Daniel Lee practices at the Atlanta location. Consultations are available at both locations as well as our office in Cincinnati.

Do I need a referral from a primary care physician to see the hair restoration surgeon?

No, you do not need a referral from a primary care physician to see our hair restoration surgeon.

Does the Anderson Center for Hair accept health insurance for hair restoration procedures?

The most common form of hair loss, androgenic alopecia, also known as pattern hair loss (PHL), is not a disease or a disorder, it’s a natural variant of the human condition. For this reason, hair loss prevention and hair restoration procedures are considered cosmetic procedures and are not covered by insurance. In some situations, like chemotherapy induced hair loss or traumatic hair loss due to injury, treatment to restore your hair could be covered, but these situations are exceedingly rare. If this applies to you, we recommend that you check with your insurance provider to confirm your coverage details before making an appointment. While we cannot process insurance claims for you, our doctors and administrative staff can help you with supporting documentation for reimbursement.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept cash, debit, and all major credit cards at each of our locations.

Are there financing options available for hair restoration treatments?

Yes, we do offer financing options for all our services through the third-party providers CareCredit and Alphaeon. You can visit their websites to begin the application process or ask your patient coordinator for additional information.

How long does an initial hair restoration consultation last?

A typical hair restoration consultation at our practice lasts around one hour. This includes time for discussing your hair loss, examining your scalp, taking baseline photographs, and discussing potential treatment options.

Do you offer virtual consultations?

Yes! If you’re out of town or just can’t get away from the office, don’t let that keep you from taking action to improve your hair. Our hair restoration surgeons offer virtual consultations every day.

Can I see before-and-after photos of previous patients who underwent hair restoration procedures before I come in for a consultation?

Absolutely! We have a gallery of before-and-after photos of previous patients who have undergone hair restoration procedures at our practice. For even more photos, request a consultation, and one of our patient coordinators can walk you through examples of patients with your hair and skin type and your degree of hair loss and help you visualize what your results could look like.

Does the practice provide any guarantees or warranties for the results of the hair restoration procedure?

While individual results may vary, our practice is committed to patient satisfaction. We don’t provide explicit guarantees or warranties for the results of the hair restoration procedure, but we strive to achieve the best possible outcome for each patient.
